More Snow fell on the 13th

Photos 6th January 2010

Snow settled on the garden on 5th and 6th Jaunary.

The pond was frozen over.

Many of the tropical plants were covered with snow....

and the banana tree was damaged by the freeze.

The children in the after school club were not put off by the cold...

and made fat and seed balls for wild birds to help them survive while snow covered the ground.

The fox did his normal patrol up and down the garden after dark.

Even some flowers were blooming...

but the bees stayed indoors, safe in their hive eating their store of honey.
